Sustainability Statement
Renewable resources that minimise environmental impact are key to providing this and foster a clean energy economy.
Prioritising green energy procurement empowers our clients to make environmentally responsible choices to combat climate change.
We wish to be an active partner in the transition towards a greener future.
Delivering against our objectives…
ONE
Energy Procurement
Every tender undertaken will include at least one (if not more) energy supplier whose gas or electricity is from a sustainable source or who provide renewable certificates and this will be highlighted versus other options within the tender basket.
TWO
SMART Meter Upgrades
Argent Partnership have undertaken a Meter Upgrade programme for several years. Every meter under our management which is eligible has been identified and is included on a Tracker Roadmap with meters being upgraded on a monthly basis.
The benefits of SMART Meters:
- Real-time data: Users have access to real-time information about their energy consumption.
- Energy efficiency: They help identify areas where energy can be saved.
- Green energy integration: Helping to integrate renewable energy sources.
- Demand-side management: Supports agreements between consumers and utilities to reduce strain on the grid.
- Informed decisions: SMART meters provide utilities with real-time data to help them make informed decisions and reduce carbon emissions.
THREE
Track and Trace Surveys
The objectives of a T&T Survey are threefold:
To confirm that the meters actually do supply the demise and no other areas which are not the responsibility of the bill payer
To understand which areas are supplied by each meter
To see if any meters can be rationalised/removed
The key sustainability benefit is the rationalisation of meters by identifying which parts of a building can be more efficiently served by combining three Single Phase meters into one 3- Phase SMART meter.
